Datasensing S67-Y Series

The S67-Y Series offers a premium family of laser distance sensors engineered for micrometric precision, compact industrial installation and robust performance across manufacturing environments. With a die-cast zinc metal housing, Class 2 red laser emission, and analog output options, this series enables highly accurate distance measurement, repeatable detection, and industrial durability.

Design & Functionality

  • The sensor is built within a metal die-cast zinc housing rated IP67, providing mechanical durability and industrial-grade protection against dust and water.
  • Measuring range variants include 50…300 mm (Y03) or 100…600 mm (Y13) on a 90% white target, enabling selection of the span most suited to your application. 
  • Resolution is down to 0.01…0.33 mm in the shorter range model (Y03) and 0.015…0.67 mm in the longer span model (Y13), offering sub-millimetre detection precision. 
  • Linearity error is as low as ±0.03 mm at 50 mm in the Y03 variant, ensuring measurement accuracy for critical applications. 
  • Output options include analog voltage (0-10 V) or analog current (4-20 mA), plus a soiling/alarm indicator and teach-in capability (via push-button), enabling straightforward setup and maintenance. 
  • Response time in short-range models is less than 0.9 ms, supporting high-speed automation and dynamic processes.
