The DS4 Base Series delivers robust detection and measurement across industrial areas using a dense crossed beam architecture. Unlike simple point sensors, these area sensors continuously monitor an entire detection planeβensuring reliable recognition of objects regardless of their orientation, position or transparency.
The DS4 Base series is engineered for flexibility and ease of installation in industrial automation systems. Detection heights begin at approximately 300 mm and extend up to 1500 mm (and higher in extended models). Beam pitches are selectable at 5 mm, 10 mm or 25 mm, allowing the user to tailor resolution and coverage according to application needs. Sensing distances reach up to 13 m in favorable conditions.
