Datasensing CR Series

The Datasensing CR Series delivers robust, wide-area object detection using a polarized retro-reflective architecture. Unlike single-point sensors, these area sensors monitor an entire vertical detection field, ensuring consistent, stable detection of objects regardless of their size, transparency, or angle.

Design & Functionality

The CR Series uses a single active unit paired with a reflector, simplifying installation and reducing wiring compared to traditional emitter-receiver pairs. The sensors are available in three controlled heights—69 mm, 149 mm, and 309 mm—allowing flexible integration into a variety of industrial applications.

Polarized Retro-Reflective Architecture

• Provides secure detection even with shiny or transparent materials
• Ensures minimal influence from ambient lighting and reflective surfaces
• Uses a 10 mm beam pitch for dense, uniform detection coverage
• Ideal for detecting objects of different shapes or partially positioned items
