The DG Series offers high-performance through-beam optical sensing in a compact Ø 10 mm body, engineered for demanding industrial installations. With its miniaturised form-factor (Ø 10 mm × 41 mm), IP67 protection and robust electronics, these sensors deliver reliable detection even in tight spaces and harsh environments. 

Design & Functionality

• Constructed with an ultra-compact Ø 10 mm housing (length ~41 mm), the series supports mounting in limited-space applications without sacrificing detection performance. 
• Features a spring-latch fixing for Ø 13 mm mounting hole, enabling quick installation and solid mechanical retention in automated systems. 
• Equipped with LED status indicator (receiver only), enabling visual confirmation of detection state and aiding maintenance or alignment tasks. 
• Designed for harsh conditions: IP67 degree of protection, full electrical protection including reverse-polarity and short-circuit protection, and a broad operating temperature range (-25 °C … +70 °C typical).

• The DG Series ensures a clear uninterrupted detection path between emitter and receiver, meaning any object breaking the light path will be reliably detected — even in constrained mounting or compact machine zones.
• This enables repeatable and accurate detection despite compact size or tight installation envelopes.

• Nominal sensing distance (Sn) for the receiver version is ~2 m in standard models – offering considerable reach for the miniature size. 
• The compact size combined with long sensing capability gives flexibility: small footprint with large detection span, suitable for conveyors, feeders or compact machine in-feeds.
• Correction factors and full stability across temperature ensure that performance is maintained even when mounted in dense equipment or exposed to industrial environments.

Intrinsic Synchronism

• The electronics in each unit are self-contained, requiring no external synchronising wiring; installation is simplified and reliable.
• Startup time (time before availability) is fast (typically ≤ 100 ms) so the sensor is ready quickly after power up.
