The CX2 Series from Datasensing offers high-resolution area monitoring through a crossed-beam and parallel-beam optical architecture. Instead of detecting at a single point, these sensors monitor an entire detection zone—ensuring consistent detection of objects regardless of their shape, position or orientation.

Design & Functionality

The CX2 series features a compact housing and modular design, integrating emitters and receivers in configurations with controlled detection heights up to 960 mm. Beam pitch options include 5 mm, 10 mm and 20 mm, allowing you to balance resolution and range according to application requirements. Operating distances extend up to 3 m (with 5 mm pitch) and up to 6 m with 10 mm or 20 mm pitch models.

• Beam pitch options: 5 mm for highest resolution, 10 mm or 20 mm for larger fields and longer distances.
