Piston Rod Cylinders
Festo piston rod cylinders are robust, high-precision pneuma...
Festoβs MS Series filter regulators are designed as comprehensive compressed-air preparation modules, bringing robust filtration, precise pressure control, and modular flexibility to automation systems. They are ideal for a wide range of industrial applications β from general machine automation to environments with demanding performance or certification requirements.
The MS Series combines a high-flow filter unit and a diaphragm regulator into a compact housing: the filter provides effective particle and condensate separation, while the regulator ensures stable output pressure with low hysteresis and built-in return-flow or secondary-venting functionality. These units are available in multiple sizes (e.g., MS4, MS6, MS9, MS12) offering a wide flow-range for varied system capacities.
β Important: The MS Series offers modular combinations, enabling you to mix and match filter, regulator, drain and sensor modules for tailored compressed-air solutions.
Total Crossed Beams
This refers to the coverage across flow capacities, connection sizes, and performance levels: the MS Series ensures full operational capability across machine types, from small handling systems to large-scale process installations.
The system offers multiple configuration options:
β’ Choice of sizes (MS4 to MS12) for matching flow demands.
β’ Filtration grades (5 Β΅m or 40 Β΅m) for different air-quality requirements.
β’ Pressure-regulation ranges (e.g., 0.3 β¦ 7 bar, 0.5 β¦ 12 bar, up to 16 bar) depending on variant.
β’ Condensate-drain options: manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic; with metal or polycarbonate bowls.
β’ Certification options such as ATEX/UL for use in explosive atmospheres (Zones 1/2/21/22).
β Important: The broad configuration range ensures an optimized solution for flow performance, air purity, pressure stability or certified environment β whichever the application demands.
Internal diaphragm-regulator design and integrated return-flow function guarantee consistent pressure output even under varying inlet conditions. The modular service-unit mounting enables quick replacement of individual modules without disassembling the entire unit.
β’ High flow rates in compact footprint β maximizing system throughput while saving space.
β’ Excellent particle/condensate separation for reliable downstream pneumatic components.
β’ Low hysteresis pressure regulation for precise control of pneumatic systems.
β’ Modular service-unit concept reduces maintenance time and simplifies system upgrades.
β’ Customizable for hazardous environments (Zones 1/2/21/22) β flexible across industrial sectors.
Applications: Machine automation, packaging lines, handling systems, compressed-air distribution, process plants in regulated or explosive-atmosphere zones.
